By adjusting settings to analyze currency performance against Bitcoin or Ethereum, investors can identify tokens that outperform Bitcoin. While few tokens have demonstrated significant outperformance in the previous week due to temporary factors such as dominance retesting, some tokens have displayed promising performance relative to Bitcoin over the past month.
With Bitcoin and Ethereum garnering attention and experiencing bullish trends, the spotlight now shifts towards pinpointing tokens that have the potential to outperform. Tokens like Injective, Render, Blockstack, AVAX, Ethereum, and Sushi exhibit signs of awakening and outperformance against Bitcoin.
The analyst elaborated that Ethereum has been a tough competitor lately, with only a few like dydx, a decentralized exchange, managing to surpass it. He anticipates that Ethereum will outperform most altcoins for the time being, but expects many altcoins to follow suit when it makes a significant move.
Drawing comparisons between Solana and Ethereum reveals which one is outperforming the other. A green chart indicates Solana’s superior performance, while a red one signals Ethereum’s dominance. For instance, swapping one Ethereum for Solana last September would have resulted in a gain of three Ethereum by now. While many fixate on a token’s price, what truly matters is its performance against Bitcoin and Ethereum.
The analyst highlighted how platforms like Optimism can help in accruing more Ethereum. He appreciates charts that exhibit consistent patterns over time, similar to the one seen with Cosmos. Being able to recognize when the pattern shifts enables making strategic decisions. For example, selling one Ethereum to purchase Atom and then later repurchasing Ethereum can aid in asset growth.
He recommended gradually accumulating tokens like Injective, and once it starts breaking through, it signifies the right time to jump in. Take a look at Theta—it’s in a prime position at the moment. While Ethereum currently commands attention, it’s crucial to be prepared for the upcoming phase where altcoins surpass Ethereum.
