2024 US Voters Embrace Bitcoin Unraveling the Source of Crypto Enthusiasm

A recent survey by Grayscale has unveiled intriguing insights that would captivate any cryptocurrency enthusiast, particularly highlighting the growing appeal of Bitcoin among US voters. Let’s delve into key findings from the Phase 2 survey conducted by Harris Poll for Grayscale from April 30 to May, 2024.

Emerging Interest in Bitcoin: Statistical Insights
The survey reveals that nearly 47% of voters are considering adding cryptocurrencies to their investment portfolios. Remarkably, compared to a similar survey (Phase 1) last year, where only 40% expressed interest in cryptocurrencies, this marks a notable shift in voter sentiment towards digital assets.

The survey also emphasizes discussions surrounding Bitcoin’s price. It indicates that voters are increasingly monitoring Bitcoin amidst ongoing geopolitical tensions, inflation concerns, and risks to the US dollar. According to the data, over 41% of voters cited these factors as influential. Notably, the report observes that Bitcoin’s current price in 2024 significantly surpasses previous election years. As of July 6, 2024, Bitcoin is valued at $56,568. In the 2016 election, Bitcoin stood at just $729, experiencing a substantial surge in 2017 when it peaked at $13,841 by the year’s end. During the 2020 election, Bitcoin traded at $14,036 and surged to $61,164 within two months. 2024 has been particularly noteworthy, with Bitcoin reaching an all-time high of over $73,000 in mid-March.
