Santiment Reveals Leading Real-World Asset Coins: Chainlink Takes the Lead, Followed by Synthetix, Oraichain, Maker, and More
Santiment, a prominent platform for financial market data, recently shared its insights on the top Real-World Asset (RWA) coins in the cryptocurrency industry. By analyzing GitHub activity to assess their performance, Santiment has compiled a list of RWAs ranked based on their active projects and development frequency.
According to Santiment’s research, the top RWA-related coins, determined by the frequency of their development and insights from non-redundant GitHub activity over the past 30 days, are as follows:
Chainlink Leads the Way
Santiment’s analysis reveals that Chainlink (LINK) is the frontrunner in the RWA sector, with over three times the development activity of its closest competitors. Let’s take a closer look at the significance of Chainlink’s leadership and growth trajectory.
Despite recent bearish market trends, Chainlink has demonstrated remarkable resilience. Previously, Chainlink managed to generate substantial profits during the ongoing bull market, with LINK surging by nearly 160% in the past year. This surge can be attributed, in part, to Chainlink’s continuous development, such as the introduction of the new Chainlink Automation 2.0.
Synthetix, Oraichain, and the Top 5
Santiment has identified Synthetix (SNX), Oraichain (ORA), Maker (MKR), and Dusk Foundation (DUSK) as the top contenders to Chainlink on their RWA list, placing them in the top 5.
Currently priced at $14.83, Oraichain (ORAI) has experienced a bearish market week, with a 3.80% decline in the last 7 days, resulting in underperformance in the global crypto market. Oraichain reached its peak on February 19, 2021, trading at an all-time high price of $105.76. Since then, it has dropped by 85.91%.
The remaining 5 coins that make it to the top 10 RWA list, according to Santiment’s findings, are Centrifuge, Plymesh Network, Bonson Protocol, Reserve Protocol, and Propy Inc.
While each project may have its own approach to integrating RWAs, these tokens have collectively contributed to the convergence of blockchain technology and traditional assets.
