Charles Hoskinson addresses speculation about the vitality of the Cardano ecosystem while also making pointed remarks about Arthur Hayes and Raoul Pal

Charles Hoskinson recently made an appearance on the latest podcast from Thinking Crypto. The founder revealed that Cardano is on the verge of its most significant governance upgrade to date, which he believes will revolutionize not only the project but potentially the entire industry. He also discussed the ambitious plans for scalability and the enthusiastic community participation evident at events such as Rare Evo and the Cardano Foundation Summit.

Charles highlighted the expanding ecosystem of DeFi projects and dApps that have been developed internally, free from external funding or influences. However, he expressed frustration at the constant assertions on platforms like Twitter and in the crypto media that Cardano is obsolete or inconsequential.

“I believe there is a notable impatience where individuals fail to see the price increase and quickly assume that means it’s a dying ecosystem in steep decline,” he stated.

The founder emphasized that the community seldom loses its way; instead, it tends to develop an immune system that naturally filters out projects that are incompatible. While acknowledging that some projects do fade away, he explained that this is a normal part of a healthy, dynamic ecosystem. The consistent growth, evolution, and resolution of significant challenges indicate that the ecosystem will flourish for the next 5, 10, or even 20 years.

“I believe the primary issue in marketing today is the entrenched preconceived notions that have taken hold. Figures like Arthur Hayes and Raoul Pal may cast doubt on us, skirting around the issue, but they belong to a bygone era,” he added.

Despite this progress, he noted the lack of recognition from the crypto media. He suggested that crypto venture capitalists may be manipulating things to prevent capital from flowing to Cardano because they have investments in specific assets.
