Macro expert Raoul Pal discloses his top investments in meme coins and suggests that Dogecoin has potential to become the next ETF.

Raoul Pal, the founder and CEO of Real Vision and Global Macro Investor, recently discussed the relevance of meme coins. Pal revealed that his two biggest investments, Whiff and Bonk, are equally weighted and have been in his portfolio for a while. He also still holds some Dogecoin because he believes Elon Musk may do something with it in the future. However, he does not have any other investments besides these. Pal focuses on comparing charts of meme coins against each other, particularly Bonk.
Pal admits to struggling with the direction of the Bonk and Whiff chart, which is why he avoids investing in the early stages. He does not have time to research pump-and-dump schemes and predict potential movements.
According to a report by Savvy Finance, Pal explained that what is happening with meme coins is speculation on whether cultural memes will become significant. Pal is not bothered by this as long as everyone understands that it is akin to betting on raindrops on a window. He sees it as a way to test what could happen.
Pal compared participating in the success of a meme to discovering a band at a pub that later becomes famous, like Coldplay. By investing in memes, people can participate financially in something that others may not have discovered yet. Pal believes there is still value in meme coins, citing the proven value of Dogecoin and Shiba Inu. He believes these coins, along with a few others, will continue to create value. Although uncertain about what will ultimately be valuable, Pal does not believe everything will go to zero.
When discussing the possibility of the next ETF, Pal suggested that if the crypto space follows its usual pattern, Dogecoin could be the next candidate.
