Market Value of Bitcoin Held by United States Reaches Approximately $27 Billion with a Total of 638,900 BTC

Renowned analyst Ali Martinez provided insightful data on the amount of spot Bitcoin ETFs held by the United States, which totals approximately 638,900 BTC, equivalent to a market value of around $27 billion.
Grayscale Emerges as the Leader
The data reveals that Grayscale holds the largest share, with 566,973.4051 BTC as of January 19. This achievement has propelled Bitcoin ETFs to become the second-largest commodity ETFs, surpassing Silver.
BlackRock’s Strong Position
BlackRock, represented by iBIT, currently stands as the second-largest holder in Bitcoin, possessing a total of 28,622 BTC. Fidelity Investments, under the name FBTC, secured the third spot with custody of 20,466 BTC.
Noteworthy Holdings of Other Issuers
In addition to the aforementioned leaders, other issuers also hold significant amounts of Bitcoin. Bitwise, with its BITB fund, holds 8,294 units, while Ark/21Shares (ARKB) has a total of 7,565 BTC in its possession. Invesco/Galaxy (BTCO) holds a respectable 1,871 BTC.
