The Osmosis Fork’s Influence on LUNC and USTC Prices: A Significant Development in Terra Luna Classic

According to recent reports, Vinh Nguyen, the developer of Terra Luna Classic’s L1TF, has decided to fork the Osmosis test tube in order to improve Astroport’s functionality and test upcoming upgrades, including an 800 million USTC burn. This development aims to strengthen the Terra Classic ecosystem and have a positive effect on the prices of LUNC and USTC.

The fork of the Osmosis test tube serves two purposes – it addresses the fixes made to Astroport last month and allows for testing of the significant 800 million USTC burn contract migration. These steps are crucial for optimizing Terra Classic’s liquidity protocol and stabilizing the value of USTC, the platform’s stablecoin.

By forking the test tube, developers now have a valuable tool for integration tests of CosmWasm contracts and inter-contract interaction. This empowers them to create more secure and reliable smart contracts for Terra Classic, which benefits the wider community.

The Terra Classic community is expecting a positive trend in LUNC prices, with hopes of reaching $0.0002 soon. Currently, LUNC is experiencing a 7% weekly increase but is trading sideways.

At the same time, USTC prices are responding positively to the testing of the 800 million USTC burn, currently valued at $0.02682. The increased trading volume indicates a growing interest among traders.

Fragwuerdig, a Terra developer, commented on the fork and emphasized the role of the test tube in testing Astroport fixes and its broader application for testing contracts, especially CosmWasm smart contracts. The developer highlighted the significance of the tool in enabling seamless testing without the need for Go code, which streamlines the development process.

With ongoing development and staking activities, the Terra Classic community is optimistic about the positive impact on LUNC prices.
