Vivek Ramaswamy Withdraws from the 2024 US Presidential Race

Vivek Ramaswamy embarked on his presidential campaign on February 21, 2023, drawing inspiration from Donald Trump’s successful bid for the presidency in 2016. However, on January 15, 2024, Ramaswamy announced the conclusion of his campaign following Trump’s victory in the Iowa caucus.

Ramaswamy, a presidential candidate, decided to end his 11-month campaign, garnering attention for his support of cryptocurrency as a means to protect the industry’s fundamental aspects.

The decision to end the campaign was influenced by Trump’s triumph in the Iowa caucus, according to Ramaswamy’s team. In response to his defeat, Ramaswamy promptly endorsed Donald J Trump for the presidency.

“At this moment, we are suspending our presidential campaign,” Ramaswamy stated. “There is no viable path for me to become the next president, unless certain undesirable events occur in this country. We did not achieve the surprise we had hoped to deliver tonight.”

Ramaswamy expressed his disappointment on Twitter, acknowledging that the citizens had made their preferences clear and consequently decided to withdraw from the race. Despite this setback, Ramaswamy still endorsed his rival, Trump, applauding him for his significant victory. Trump secured 55,000 votes, while De Santis followed with 23,000 votes, and Ramaswamy finished in fourth place with 8,000 votes.

Looking ahead, Ramaswamy revealed that he will be joining Donald Trump at a rally in New Hampshire to discuss their shared ideas and visions for the future of the country. Despite Trump’s recent critical remarks, the Indian-American former presidential hopeful affirmed his commitment to supporting Trump’s bid for the presidency.

This US presidential campaign continues to captivate as numerous notable candidates unveil their future plans to revolutionize the country across all sectors. During his victory speech, Donald Trump expressed gratitude to the people of Iowa and called for unity in addressing the world’s challenges.
